Native (Her Favorite)

I made this track because I sampled a girl I like’s favorite band, The Local Natives, and I thought this would be a dope ass gesture of how I feel about her, but knowing my luck, it most likely won’t work. :/

I’m gonna try to never be bored again.

I don’t have any resolutions of my own, except that I hope to learn more and become better person (ironic, I know lol), or at least try not to act like a loser in front of people I don’t give two shits about. I seriously don’t know. My guess is that everybody I know will say something they want to change about themselves, but give it some weeks or even months, and they always ultimately fail. What annoys me is that we have a consistent need to make goals and resolutions, but we don’t set resolutions to truly better ourselves. Instead, we show off to friends and colleagues to make our selves seem exponentially better than them, and we also choose to believe that we achieved that goal and resolution without any help from others.

Like I said, I seriously don’t know anymore. I’m honestly too tired to care, and I’m kinda pissed because a girl I like gave me the cold shoulder today, something I’m way too used to. This is just a sick cycle that I always seem to fall into. The kicker is that almost every girl I ever talked to seemed to always put up a front and said that they want a better guy than Douchebag A, but when they meet a guy who isn’t a complete asshole (I.E., Me) they throw whatever the fuck they were talking about out the window, and sprint back to Douchebag A. It’s either that, or I am a complete asshole, which sucks, but at least tell it to my face if you’re truly “Keeping it real”.  Like I said however, I’m tired as fuck right now. Happy New Years.
